THE WINE & FOOD TOUR OF MARGARET RIVER

Join us on a journey through Cape Mentelle, as we demystify the world of wine. Walking through the
winemaking process you will follow the story from the iconic Wallcliffe Vineyard through to the state-of-the-art fruit processing areas and ending in the rammed earth Cabernet Cellar, where you will enjoy a tutored wine and food pairing lunch experience.

From there we’ll explore the world of artisan winemaking, where the winemakers have a genuine passion to make wines that are related to their personality and the land.

Artisan or handcrafted winemaking is an approach based on maximum human intervention in the vineyard, and minimum chemical intervention in the winery, to ensure pure fruit flavours that speak of the place from whence they came.

This is a unique opportunity to get into their space for an insight into the ‘why and how’ small batch, artisan wines are made!

With a minimum of four and a maximum of six people you will be travelling in a luxury seven seater vehicle.
